Coming in early 2027: the redesigned 3 Series brings the M350 xDrive to the US in the first quarter of 2027, rated by BMW at 437 hp and 3.9 seconds to 60 mph (BMW Group Newsroom). The 2026 i4 is the final US model year of the i4.
How to read a BMW 0-60 time against a magazine test
BMW's US 0-60 figures are standing-start times, which is why a road test can quote a quicker number for the same car. Many US magazines subtract the first foot of travel, called a one-foot rollout. BMW publishes both for the 2027 M2 xDrive: 3.6 seconds standard, 3.3 seconds with rollout. Compare like with like, and treat every figure as a dry-pavement best case. On wet Pacific Northwest roads, M xDrive's ability to send power to all four wheels matters more than a tenth of a second on paper.
